The ComfortDelGro Group has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking, and this commitment is reflected in how P & J Ellis Ltd works with suppliers and business partners.

Our Business and Supply Chain

P & J Ellis Ltd operate bus and coach services across the UK. Our supply chain includes vehicle manufacturers, engineering and maintenance providers, operational support services and professional services. We work with many suppliers and recognise that certain sectors and geographies may present higher risks of labour exploitation. We therefore apply a risk-based and proportionate approach to managing our supply chain responsibly.

Risk Assessment and Due Diligence

P & J Ellis Ltd assesses supply-chain risks using the Sedex risk assessment framework. This approach combines independent external data on country and sector risk with supplier- specific information to help identify where risks of forced labour, child labour or worker exploitation may be higher. Suppliers are categorised as low, medium or high risk, allowing P & J Ellis Ltd to prioritise due diligence activity. Where higher risks are identified, we may carry out enhanced engagement, hich can include additional information requests, audits, contractual requirements and improvement plans. Lower-risk suppliers are subject to proportionate monitoring. Risk assessments are kept under review and informed by operational oversight, audit outcomes and supplier engagement.

Policies, Governance and Training

Our approach to modern slavery risk is governed by the Procurement and Supply Risk Management Policy and aligned with ComfortDelGro Group standards. Oversight is provided through a cross-functional compliance structure involving Procurement and Sustainability and Risk. Employees involved in procurement and supplier management receive appropriate training to help them identify and manage modern slavery risks effectively.

Our Commitment

P & J Ellis Ltd is committed to continuous improvement in how we identify and manage risks of modern slavery and human trafficking and to working with our suppliers to promote responsible and ethical practices. We monitor effectiveness through key indicators such as the number of supplier risk assessments completed, and any corrective actions implemented. Suppliers and workers can raise concerns through our confidential whistleblowing channels, which are actively promoted across our operations. In the coming year, we plan to enhance training to strengthen our approach to modern slavery risk management. This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our Group’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31st December 2025.
